Murad Assaad, MD is a clinical associate at the Ohio Sleep Medicine Institute. He is board certified in sleep medicine and internal medicine. His interest in the field of sleep medicine stemmed from his desire to focus on an area of health that links to most functions of the body. He works together with his patients towards the common goal of promoting overall mental and physical health through the lens of sleep. He focuses on comprehensive care, getting to know his patients while mentoring their progress towards better sleep over time.

A native of Ohio, Dr. Assaad completed his sleep medicine fellowship at the University Hospital Case Western Medical Center in Cleveland. He previously completed his internal medicine residency in Akron, Ohio. He is deeply committed to his family, loves travelling and is passionate about sports, particularly basketball
