One of the best ways
to identify a quality sleep medicine program is the presence of
ongoing research and Continuing Medical Education. Research keeps
the physician at the forefront of medical knowledge and
technology. Providing continuing medical education shows a
constant effort by the facility to educate other physicians and
health care providers. These two activities go hand in hand in the
medical community. At the Ohio Sleep Medicine Institute, the
Research and Development Department operates to promote the
interaction of both research and continuing medical education,
keeping OSMI at the cutting edge of testing and technology.
Additionally, a portion of the department functions to develop
marketing strategies for the Ohio Sleep Medicine Institute and to
promote community outreach.
